“You have valuable strengths and skills that employers are looking for. This course will help you to uncover and develop these, and let employers know about them!”
What is a job club?
Job Club is a free service to help you find employment. The course was created by CAP and our club is run by volunteers from Souls Harbour Church. Each job club cohort has a session every Thursday for 8 weeks. These sessions take place between 10am and 12pm followed by an optional free lunch. If you need help with childcare please let us know.
Unemployment can be hard to deal with on your own, but at your job club you will be able to share your experiences with other jobseekers. We are confident that you will leave this course with some great friends who can support you as you look for work.
You have valuable strengths and skills that employers are looking for. This course will help you to uncover and develop these, and let employers know about them!
Alongside this course, you will also have one-to-one coaching sessions with your Job Coach. They will get to know you and make sure you’re getting the specific support you need. They will also help you to set goals so that you can see the progress you are making at each stage. Your Job Coach is committed to helping you find employment — they care about and believe in you.
